Standup, Magician, Ventriloquist
Gemini combines stage illusion, dance, comedy, romance, audience participation, ventriloquism, and great fun into one astonishing show. This work is a true passion of John's. Extremly personable, and always willing to go the extra mile, you will undoubtedly find him performing equally as well off stage as on. Close up table magic and at hand performances with and for children are just a few more phenomenal talents to add to his full repertoire.
Gemini is a featured entertainer alone or with a crew of very talented assistants to enhance his performances. Your consideration is truly appreciated.
Now, several Vegas, Palladium, Atlantic City and hundreds of Comedy Clubs later, his magic and ambience are changing things. Whether he is appearing in Vegas or at a local Comedy Club, people across the country look forward to seeing this "Maestro of Magic & Laughter", bringing their friends to sharing in the fun. Everything about Gemini and his show is a cut above fantasy. His magic, his jokes, the way he reads the audience easier than a front page headline. Because of his unique style of showmanship he not only keeps the show in motion with his jokes, he has several magic sets as well. Gemini is also an accomplished ventriloquist, with several "friends" that keep the audience in the palm of his hand. Born in Brooklyn, New York, his streetwise sense of humor and wit came in handy throughout his life "in the neighborhood." As he says, "I do a little bit of comedy and a little bit of magic. What you laugh at, that's the comedy. What you don't, well, that's the magic."

Comedy, having always been a dream of mine, has always hidden in the shadows of my life. In high school, friends of mine and myself filmed sketch comedy with a single video camera and while in the army I did stand up in small competitions and for friends when things got tough. Now that I’m back in the Charlotte area, I’m ready to take comedy control and I’m thinking more seriously about the future. Things are looking up for me. My ultimate goal is to be on the coco peebles box. Watch your ass Fred.

My husband & I started going to the Comedy Zone every Wednesday night in 1998 because you could fill out the card on the table & get in free the following week. Wednesdays just happened to be "Open Mike Night", so we watched the amateurs every week. They were SOOOO bad! Mark said, "You could do better than THAT!" So with a month or so of preparation & Cessna-sized butterflies in my stomach, I took the plunge. I still have that first set on tape. My God. It's soooo different from anything I do now, but I still use some of that open mic material!
12 years later and I've been doing it ever since, all over the country and have never looked back. I love making other people laugh in a real life, simplistic way. I hope you will come check out my show or hire me for yours!

There comes a time in a person’s life when they finally decide to pursue those dreams they’ve always had as a child. Those dreams that have been put on a shelf and have collected an inch of dust. Dreams that call out to you begging you to capture them. Well, that’s exactly what happened to Kevin Alderman. One day he decided life was too short to not pursue his dreams. So at the ripe ole age of 40, he set out on that journey.
So, there he is. In Charlotte, North Carolina. January 31st 2007 standing on a rickety little stage in a smoked filled bar at his first open mic ever. Knees shaking…heart pounding…wondering what the hell he’s doing up here? His first joke, “I got into a fight the other day. I’m lying on the ground with a broken nose and a cracked rib thinking to myself, why did I marry this woman?!” The 12 person crowd went wild and from that point on he was hooked.
Since then Kevin has performed at comedy clubs up and down the east coast. He’s also formed his own tour called "The Midlifers Stand Up Tour" performing in country clubs and theatres throughout the southeast.
His unique way of turning childhood situations into comedy gold is priceless. You’ll be saying to yourself “I can’t believe he experienced that” while laughing your butt off. It’s ok, you don’t have to feel guilty-it’s friggin hilarious. And with a unique and surprisingly different perspective on everyday topics he will keep you in stitches from the time he hits the stage to the time he says goodnight.

Her squeaky clean act can been seen anywhere. Her humor appeals to all ages. As time marches on, her calendar continues to fill up.

All seasoned improv veterans, the cast take audience suggestions and spin them into comedic golden nuggets of laughter, which are neither fattening nor toxic. Who could ask for anything more?
For over 20 years Todd Yohn's high energy, non-stop act has blended stand-up, improv, and music into one deliciously stimulating show. His fresh and clever origional comedy tunes such as "The Femenine Hygene Song" "Daddy Please Don't Go" and the very popular " Orange Barrels" have separated Todd from the "other " guitar playing comedy acts. Todd has been an accomplished musician for many years and still has a songwriting deal with MCA Publishing in Nashville, Tennesse. He is one of the few performers today who has the rare ability to produce large amounts of laughter with the lift of an eye brow or droop of the lip. Todd's combination of material, uncanny sense of timing and his complete uniqueness of personality, has earned him the reputation as one of the best club comedians in the country. As a matter of fact, Tom Griswald of the nationally syndicated morning radio show "Bob and Tom" has said that, "Todd Yohn is, by far, the funniest live comedian show anyone will ever see".
At 6'3'' and 180 pounds Todd is a red-headed, walking, talking cartoon. A master of physical comedy, Todd can move in and out of characters within seconds and make anyone think they are watching multiple performers. But then again, that's what Todd does best! Watching Todd's show, one gets the feeling that they are watching an " out-take" of a movie as Todd is laughing himself and having a genuinely grand time on stage. This self depricating comic puts you at ease from the beginning to the end of his show and you will hurt from laughing as you leave his performance.
Todd is heavily requested on the college circuit as well as the corporate world and national comedy club nework. You might have seen Todd on HBO, SHOWTIME, VH-1, and COMEDY CENTRAL. He has worked with Glenn Campbell, The Four Tops, Charlie Daniels, and is Joan Rivers' favorite opening act (in his price range). His humor and songwriting have made him one of the ORIGIONAL "regulars" of "The Bob and Tom Show". According to Kevin Brady of Outback Concert Promotions, " Todd is my number one closer for the "Friends of the Bob and Tom Show" national tours. Simply put, Todd does comedy the way comedy was meant to be performed. He is a total performer who will thrill any audience! Don't miss the opportunity to experience this "one of a kind" entertainer! He can make his show as PG or as Adult humored as requested!
So how did that waif with no verbal skills whatsoever become one of the premier comedians working today? What started in fun ended in, well… fun. Like an E! True Hollywood Story just before the half-hour commercial break, Tony had hit bottom. After dropping out of the University of Illinois, he had moved home with his mother. Not sure what to do with his life he began taking classes at The Player's Workshop of Second City in Chicago, an improv school whose alumni include such notables as Bill Murray, George Wendt and Shelly Long. Needless to say, he was hooked. Upon graduation from the Workshop he appeared in the sketch-comedy show Flame as well as The Adventures of Sinbad and Dreams of Gold and Pearls at the Children's Theatre of Second City.
Tony is a founding member of The Department of Works Comedy Ensemble whose other members included Andy Dick of News Radio and Comedy Central's Matt Walsh. With the "Department of Works" he produced and co-directed two successful shows, No Perversities Added and The Three Dollar Show. After a two year run, the individuals in the group split up to pursue their separate careers, Tony choosing stand-up comedy.
Tony currently travels the country as a stand-up comedian. He performs at comedy clubs as well as corporate shows nationwide. His show provides hilarious hi-jinks and onstage antics mixed with intelligent sarcasm. His good-natured approach towards the audience makes him a favorite nationwide.

Got comedy?
It all began when Mid America Festivals – a Minnesota based corporation that puts on a number of Renaissance festivals across the United States.
For the first time performers from the Largo festival were asked to interact with those from Sarasota . Jef Hall and Riki Robinson jumped at the chance. They would become a pair of gypsy brothers in search of their lost princess. Twins even, since at the time many people confused them for each other. And the name – made up from something sounding both ethnic and easy on the ears. The pun “ Tortuga ” was taken from an underground comic book named Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Jef taking the cartoon hero's name of Donatello – a name he would later change to D'Angelo – and Riki choosing Raphael for himself. Little did they know the hell they would go through when the comic book became a world-wide sensation. The rest is history as they now travel the country performing at Renaissance Festivals throughout and also a slew of private engagements.
It was a bright and sunny Thursday when the two unveiled their creation to the world. The faire's parade was winding to a close when a cry went out and two twin brothers proclaimed that they had at last found their long, lost princess. In truth, the Renaissance festival world had just found something that it did not even know it had been missing. By the time the skit had played out, the crowd of happy onlookers that had stopped to watch and stayed to applaud astounded both Jef and Riki. They were a surrounded, they were a success, and they were drunk with the thrill of it. But, most importantly, they were at the beginning of the rest of their lives. The after-parade skit grew, first into a lane act and then into a full-fledged stage show. It was an amazing time for the young Tortugas, and things were about to get exponentially better.
